What is California Meditates? California Meditates, a novel wellness campaign, of empowering people from various backgrounds to use meditation as a practical &amp; effective tool to increase one's well-being and quality of life includes the following highlights: Easy to access Meditation sessions Meditation Challenge provides easy access to meditation sessions, bringing meditation benefits to many cities and different communities. Community members register to participate in 30/15/7 days of challenge at an open house event in thier neighborhood or online. Open Question: Meditation techniques: Which is the safest and which is most risky?



Isn't the visualization technique most potent but most risky too? Visualization - as in concentrating on a single, non-moving object/ image in mind.
@scribblo: Sure have read/ heard some people reporting frightening or unwanting experiences afterwards like seeing auras of light, seeing people and things in a flash that's not there and stuff like that. I totally want to avoid all that.
I TU ur answer not TD it.
Infact, it's not just in visualization I guess. I was sometimes doing a mix of shikhantaza & nothingness meditation and any white tube light would appear with a tinge of green to me, afterwards. But I guess such things might be aggravated with visualization. I have other troubles with visualization method too, but since many people are insisting on it, I'm thinking of giving it another try.
